Every morning the Masserie Didattiche will be organising their“Lezioni di Cucina”regional cookery workshops, each focusing on the special culinary features of the territories of Puglia, from the Salento to Daunia, via the Murge. The Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia will be presenting the region’s wines at wine-tasting events and seminars led by regional experts. Another must is the focus on Puglia’s “green gold”, offering the chance to taste the extra virgin olive oils produced by the members of the Movimento Turismo dell’Olio. The Puglia exhibition area is not only for tasting events. With its countryside full of olive-trees, gleaming white old cities, baroque towns, vineyards overshadowed by monuments, and its areas of unspoilt beauty, Puglia aims to acquire a name as a holiday destination offering good food and relaxation in a rural setting. Puglia will also meet wine and food tourism specialists on 12th and 13th February, when selected buyers from the main target markets will be able include the regionalwine and fooditineraries in their international portfolios. Puglia will again this year issue an invitation to “Fuori Salone”, in parallel with the fair.
